I love the Gentoo forums, and there's not much I would change except one little thing. Just like in Google, I would like the last searched terms to stay in the "Quick Search" field. This would be sooo handy when modifying search terms slightly.
Hope this isn't a limitation of phpBB...

You're probably misunderstanding me. If you search for "gentoo" in google, the results page still has "gentoo" in the search field.
If you search for "gentoo" in the forums here, the Quick Search field is cleared. This makes it a wee little more work if you want to add another word to the search for example.
It's also handy to see what you searched for when you come back to a search results page after having done other stuff.

Ohhh, now I understand.
It's probably doable, there might even be a phpBB mod for it already. |
