I'm installing Gentoo on an Ultra2 Sparc I acquired recently. Everything went well up until I started the bootstrap from stage1. After several packages had successfully been compiled it suddenly halted with this error:
Code: |

This is the first time I've tried to install gentoo on a Sparc, but the install docs don't mention anything about this. What should I do? Can I emerge perl at this point in the bootstrap?
Any help would be appreciated. _________________ ---

Which stages are you using? I think this one's fixed in 2004.1... (if not, drop the ssl USE flag during boostrap I think) |

It is the 2004.0. Scheiss! I'll try it again with the 2004.1.
Thanks for the tip! _________________ ---
