|
|
GNOME 2.0 defaults to having it's "Start button" and a panel of icons on a top of the screen, the taskbar on the button.
How do I copy the icons in the icon panel up top to other user accounts? Can I just copy some file? What file?
Thanks--need to see if GNOME can hack it, so to speak, for multiple users in a school. _________________ The greatest deeds are still undone, the greatest songs are still unsung... |

I'm not 100% sure how to do it, but if you look in the ~/.gnome2 directory of the user who's layout you want to duplicate you should find some useful things. You should also be looking at their GConf keys, ~/.gconf because at least some of that kind of thing is stored in a GConf database.
Probably your best bet is to ask on the GNOME User Support Forums at http://help.gnomesupport.org/forums _________________ Your Gentoo woll sle me sodenly!
