Has anyone out there who has this card or a similar card (cs4624) got it working with ALSA? It loads the modules and all but no sound is coming out. I tried the kernel drivers and they work but it doesnt seem to let me play more than one sound and thats the reason i got the card. For ALSA hardware mixing support.
Update --
Ok well i seem to have gotten ALSA working but it only accepts on sound at a time. :\ Should i use the kernel driver and software mixing or try and get ALSA working properly? Please if you can help with the best solution, thanks in advance. |

You'll need to download ALSA CVS and uncomment some lines in the cs46xx driver. I wish I could be more specific but I've only heard a few things concerning the cs46xx driver and hardware mixing. |
