I did a search on the forums and google, but failed to come up with anything useful. I'd like to disable plugins entirely in Mozilla. I'm sick of going to flashified web pages and getting the "download a plugin" box. There's no option to say "never ask me again". I never want to download any plugins ever, and I don't want to be repeatedly bugged about it. _________________ "An empty head is not really empty; it is stuffed with rubbish. I'd love to know how to do this myself, because I will *never* install flash on mozilla. I keep being reminded that I don't have it, like I'm doing something wrong. |

If you remove that file, what happens? Does it just stop prompting you, or something else? |

*THANK YOU*. You are a beautiful human being. It's a hack, but it works beautifully. For the record, it does come up once and says "You don't have the plugin downloader plugin, so you won't be able to download stupid plugins, would you like to go get it?", but there's a checkbox that says "I know I need the plugin downloader plugin, but don't ask again." Ahhh, relief. _________________ "An empty head is not really empty; it is stuffed with rubbish. Hence the difficulty of forcing anything into an empty head."
