Gentoo UT2003 sound detection question

I ran the bootable ut2003 gentoo CD and found it to work amazingly.

The only problem is that sound doesnt get detected and setup properly
which I figured would be the case since my onboard sound wasn't
mentioned on the supported sound config's.

I am running an AMD K7 board with an SIS 7012 built in audio chip.

Is there a way to set this up manually after booting the gentoo cd ?
If not, are there any other options to get sound running using the
ut2003 demo cd ?
