I am getting the following error when I try to emerge Mail-SpamAssassin:
Code:

t/basic_lint................ok
t/cidrs.....................ok
t/db_awl_path...............ok
t/db_based_whitelist........Use of uninitialized value in numeric gt (>) at /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.3/x86_64-linux/DB_File.pm line 270.
Deep recursion on subroutine "DB_File::AUTOLOAD" at /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.3/x86_64-linux/DB_File.pm line 234.

Is this possible to fix?

Solved: The problem is the version of DB_File (DB_File-1.807.ebuild), i emerge an other DB_File-1.803-r2.ebuild and SpamAssassin compile :)

Other thing i recommend to fix problems on perl and DB_file is the following script available on gentoo portage:
Code:
/usr/portage/dev-lang/perl/files/libperl_rebuilder

Thanks, you saved me a night!

I can confirm the same behaviour on sparc64 (ultra 10). So the new DB_File version seems to have problems with 64bit architectrures...maybe we should post a bugreport (some packages are considered safe, while they aren't)

greetings

Chris
