i'm using Anjuta 1.2.2 in fluxbox 0.9.8-r1 w/ kernel 2.6.5-love5 and i can't type anything in anjuta, i can hit every key on my keyboard but it won't do anything. it's acting like the keyboard's isn't connected, but it is.

anyone know wtf is going on here? i've tried re-emerging, restarting X, and even rebooting the pc....

any and all help/info is greatly appreciated.

I had the same problem here, running fluxbox as the wm. I wanted Anjuta to do some OS projects in. But just now, as I ran it too see the error messages so I could post them, it worked. The only thing I've really changed since last time I messed with it is I set the ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~x86" flag and emerged gnome 2.6 just too see it.

Don't know if you wanna try this, as it's a pretty drastic step for a fix. I've not had any problems with it even though it's masked. I really have no clue what actually fixed it.

mainly this was a BUMP   ....

well, i didn't get a chance to get gnome, but here's my error in fluxbox:

Code:
(anjuta:9229): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: g_object_set_valist: construct property "type" for object `ESplash' can't be set after construction
** Message: Initializing AP class
** Message: Initializing AP Instance
Fontconfig error: "~/.fonts.conf", line 5: junk after document element
** Message: Initializing launcher class

this is really frustrating, anybody know what's wrong?
