Probs. with Corel Photopaint and more than 8Bit Colours

Hi there!

I've installed Corel Photopaint as described
here.
It starts and seems to work, but when I try to create or to open an
Image with more than 8Bit Colours, it crashes with this error:
"Unhandled exception 0xc0000005 at adress 0x004b48ff"
After that, I have to restart the X-Server. I tried it with 8, 16 an 24 bit
in the XF86Config. It was always the same.

When installing Photopaint, I had Problems with these two files:
fonttastic-glibc-2.1-2000.06.22.14.00-1.i386.rpm
and
libaps-1.0-1568.0.i386.rpm

The first one had dependencie-Problems (spl *g*), so I installed it, using the
--nodeps flag
The second one was not existing, so I used the older Version (against the Instructions )

Some Hints for me?
