After I figured out that you have to flip a jumper on the PCI Riser for the system to see the PCI card, I compiled the drivers and rebooted. The kernel sees the card no prob, loads drivers, etc. lspci finds the card correctly. I am even able to use ifconfig to give it an IP and add a route, however it wont recieve any packets. Whenever I try and ping out, it gives me "destination host unreachable" perpetually.
NIC is confirmed working in other machines.
Cables/switch/router are confirmed functional.
Settings (ip, netmask, route) are confirmed functional.
What might I be missing? _________________ -Tim Smith |
