|
|
Hi all,
Every time I login, blackbox comes up and everything is happy, but any changes I make to .blackboxrc are overwritten back to defaults and my .xinitrc is being completely ignored
IE. I edit the following line in .blackboxrc:
session.screen0.slit.placement: CenterRight
to
session.screen0.slit.placement: TopRight
and the next time I login, .blackboxrc shows
session.screen0.slit.placement: CenterRight
My .xinitrc contains
aterm -tr -fg white &
gkrellm -w
But when I login, neither of those applications has started and $XINITRC=/etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc and not ~/.xinitrc like it should
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks |

Sounds like you are logging in with a graphical login manager (xdm/gdm/kdm)? _________________ Quis separabit? Quo animo? |

Try to edit your .blackboxrc in the console, and not while running it.
