Hi,
I installed ACPI at my machine (kernel + acpid + kernel patch cpi-20020918-2.4.19). i think it works fine (/proc/acpi seems to be ok, it shows good values).
But the KDE control center/power control says:
---
Your computer seems to have a partial ACPI installation probaly ACPI wasn enabled, but some of the sub-options were not enabled - you need to enable at least 'AC Adaptor' and 'Control Method Battery' and rebuild your kernel
---
But i have enabled all ACPI Support (except CPU Enumeration Only and Debug Statements).
