I had an adventure updating my kernel today, due to the apparent lack of any XFS support in the latest Gentoo kernel release. I had to revert to xfs-sources, which is running kernel 2.4.18.
Is this going to be fixed soon? |

It's not a bug -- the gentoo-sources kernel was deliberately released sans XFS support. Don't remember the reason, but search the mailing list as the issue was discussed extensively there.

| Well, that's good to hear. Is work being done on getting the XFS back into the main kernel? I saw that somene released an (apparently) functional patch. |
