I have my windows half-life disk in my left hand, and my Gentoo running on my box. I would like to see Gentoo and Half-Life to become fast friends. I heard that wine is the only way to make this happen. I would appeal to the wiser penguins out there for a idiots guide to making my half-life on linux install happen.

Thanks

Winex should do the trick nicely , heaps less hassle than installing under wine.

Although the menus look a bit wrong the games runs really nice.

Cheers
Dale.
