Nvidia "problems"

hi!
I have installed the NVidia drivers, and it works almost perfectly. GL runs fast, and i get a nice fps in UT2003-demo.
But i have a small problem...
How the fu.... do i enable fast writes? and SBA? There no _no_ option at all in my bios to enable fast writes.
I`m using a MSI 845-E (6566E) mainboard, with a Pentium 4. And i`m using a Geforce 3(one of the first versions...)
I have tried editing the nvidia file in /etc/modules.d/nvidia , but it wont be enabled.

any hints?

I also have a gf3 ti200, and no fast write... but i susepct the card can't do it, as the /proc/driver/nvidia/agp/card says so, (it also says, that the host-bridge is able to do so ...)

anyone got more luck with it ?

its a bios problem then, not gentoo related. there is nothing you can do in gentoo if your bios doesnt allow it. update your bios :)

its not. well, it can be, but the best way to call it is to pass the correct argument to the nvidia module, when modprobing it.
