I have a NetGear FA312 ethernet card, which use the natsemi module. The 1.2 installation found it without any problems, and everything went just fine. But now, in the 1.4_RC1 installation, the pci-setup doesn't find the natsemi module. I can't find when I run 'ls /lib/modules/*/kernel/drivers/net/*' or 'modprobe natsemi'. What should I do? |

the kernel on the 1.4rc1 is very buggy (lots of missing drivers) ... read this to find out how to install 1.4 using a 1.2 iso. _________________ A mathematician is a machine for turning coffee into theorems. ~ Alfred Renyi (*1921 - †1970) |

The natsemi module is not needed because it is compiled into the kernel. My natsemi based card worked fine and net-setup eth0 worked like a charme.
