Hi folks (relative newbie here),
just trying to install Gentoo on a PA-RISC 712/80, and realised I can't use reiserfs, even though the install doc says it's stable on HPPA.
I can create a partition with reiserfs fine, but when I try to mount it, I get the message: | Quote: | | mount: fs type reiserfs not supported by kernel | Am I supposed to load a module or something? Or did reiserfs just not get put in the release?
Thanks,
Vu. _________________ Gentoo Noob |

Looks to me like it's just not on the CD.
What do you do to request something like that? would it be a bug?

Sorry bad reply. It looks like it's not compiled as modules or in the kernel. But mkreiserfs was put on the LiveCD. |
