k, found it. would be an easy ebuild 
however... now i have this kernel i am booting from the net, this goes ok and it is started. the idea is taht now i want to fetch all config information from the net to get NFSroot from dhcp. this is clear for netconfig, but i'd also like to fetch the nfs information from dhcp, so that i only have the kernel image on tftp and then it can fetch everything dynamically from dhcp/nfs. that would allow for a single image for any client.
in principle dhcp can serve any kind of information icluding arbitrary to your own discretion. but i haven't found such information for defining NFSroot source, at the same time i would be wildly surprised if i was the first one to ask for it. so i'm somewhat convinced it must exist.... got an idea ? |
