I recently emerged kdepim-3.0.3 and neither kpilot nor kaddressbook were installed.
Is there a way to get these applications? |

It is likely that kpilot, etc. has indeed been installed but the PATH variable not been configured to point at your kde progs. directory. Ensure that /usr/kde/3/bin (or wherever your kpilot is) is in your PATH variable by typing "env." Hope this helps! |

I checked that it is not there.
On my home machine when I instaled kdepim kpilot was installed but kaddressbook still was not.
I'm wondering if there could have been a compile error for those application? But would the emerge stop on an error? |

OK, if I emerge pilot-link first, then re-emerge kdepim I get kpilot.
That still does not explain where the hech kaddressbook is?
I must assume I am the only person with this problem? |
