after emerging kdegraphics I found that it douesn't setup kghostview properly to display pdf and gs files . They are not displayed !
It should contain

-sDEVICE=x11
-sDEVICE=x11 -dTextAlphaBits=4 -dGraphicsAlphaBits=2 -dMaxBitmap=10000000
|
in the 3 lines in the "ghostscript" config panel.
On the older 3.01 kde emerges this was the default and it worked |

Thank you very much for the post, I was wondering if it was the PDF that was corrupt after my KGhostView broke. :) |

i emerged gv, configured kghostview like above, but it dont work!!
in kde 3.0.2 i had no problem, now i've 3.0.3
opening the pdf with gv works.
opening a pdf with kghostview i get the errormessage (example):
"Could not open file /usr/share/cups/docs/ssr.pdf"
any idea? |

Easy. You're using gv as interpreter. Use gs instead.
