Kde crashed at ramdon when Aureal SF driver is loaded.

Kde 3.0.3 runs fine when Vortex 2 cvs-driver from sourceforge is not loaded. But when I do 'modprobe au8830', system will crash shortly after that. Noatun or any kde-multimedia app cannot play mp3s at all, Xmms is able to play few songs, then the system usually crashes. And it's not just kde's crash, I have to reset entire system - Ctrl + Alt + backspace wont help. This problem didn't occur in Gnome2. Haven't alsa etc., I'm on oss.
