I emerged blackdown java and copied javaplugin_oji.so from the blackdown mozilla plugin directory to /usr/local/mozilla/plugins and when I visit any page using Java Mozilla closes. Any idea how to fix this? _________________ "And I'm right. I'm always right, but in this case I'm just a bit more right than I usually am." - Linus Torvalds |

GCC 2.95.3
This is Mozilla 1.1 downloaded directly from mozilla.org _________________ "And I'm right. I'm always right, but in this case I'm just a bit more right than I usually am." - Linus Torvalds |

I recall reading about issues with java and gcc 3.something, so that is obviously not it.
Does mozilla list java as a plugin ("Help" -> "About Plug-ins")? _________________ Quis separabit? Quo animo? |

I have the same compiler, with the same mozilla version and also using blackdown jdk.
The only difference here : I have a symbolic link in the plugins dir of mozilla to the java library. Duno that's gonna change anything .. you could try. If I remember correctly, it should make that link automaticaly, when you install java jdk
Hope this helps, in some way
