[TIP] Alsa and Intel onboard sound problems

Spending hours and hours on configuring the ALSA support (and following every guide available) I found out a sneaky little setting overlooked by me in the process of getting the sound out of my spekers - it was:

External Amplifier Power Down - the last setting in alsa mixer - in my case

I've muted it and - voila - the sound was back

Edit: And now in new alsa you have to unmute it

I hope that it helps somebody to make the ALSA run properly
