I have a real newbe problem, how can I get volume information like size, free and used space of my HD under linux, either from console or gnome??

There's also a utility in KDE, which I believe is called KDiskFree (which is what df stands for by the way). Not that that helps much if you're using Gnome, but still.... |

From a console you can use the "df -h" command as others have already suggested. From GNOME you can use "gtop" which will show you a list of running processes, memory usage, and filesystem usage. _________________ -David |
