Is that a feature that has been added to the ebuild for Fluxbox? Configuring everything through text files is well a little bit of a pain.

FluxConf is in the portage tree, but you have to emerge it separately from fluxbox. just do an emerge fluxconf.

I was recently trying to do just that - emerge fluxconf and it appeared to compile and install fine, but when I go to run fluxconf it did this: Code: | >>> Regenerating /etc/ld.so.cache...
>>> x11-misc/fluxconf-0.8.5 merged.
>>> Recording x11-misc/fluxconf in "world" favorites file...
* GNU info directory index is up-to-date.
belgarath root # exit
logout
masseya@belgarath hw07 $ fluxconf
Segmentation fault |
I'm doing this on a gcc 2.95.3 system. Any thoughts on how this could happen? _________________ if i never try anything, i never learn anything..

I'm up to the latest version of both fluxbox and fluxconf that are in the portage tree and fluxconf is still working for me. Have you tried an strace to see where it's actually erroring out?
