I got a logitech optical usbmouse installen and working
cat /dev/usbmouse gives output
But it won't run in X
my x conf is:
Code: |
Section "InputDevice"
Identifier "Mouse0"
Driver "mouse"
Option "Protocol" "IMPS/2"
Option "Device" "/dev/usbmouse"

if you're running devfs, try changing the Device line to "/dev/input/mice". |

I have a usb optical and it works fine under X. Did you follow the instructions posted in this forum on how to setup a USB mouse? (Do a search). It's very helpful |
