I use gnome 2.0 and gdm is my desktop manager. Whenever I select shut down or reboot from gnome, all it does is logout and go back to gdm. I then have to select reboot again from GDM. How can I fix it so that I can reboot directly from gnome? |

Same here for me.
I tried several things (like suid the shutdown program & placing a link to it in /usr/bin). I could type shutdown from a commandline, and that worked (not recommended though....).
Still the menu option did not work. I gave up on that for the time being... |
