I downloaded the new fluxbox 0.1.11 release from sourceforge and added an ebuild to my portage tree. It is working flawlessly with my gentoo system and has addressed a few bugs from the last release... Looking forward to it's addition to portage soon!

Well, I just renamed the fluxbox-0.1.10 to fluxbox-0.1.11, ran the digest and compiled.

I'm sure that is not the correct way to go about it
