speedtouch modem

Hello
I'm new to adsl so I,m a bit in the dark. Is it possible to plug my speedtouch modem directluy into a usb port and connect that way or am I missing something. Do I have to configire my eth0 and buy extra hardware. Thanks

The answer is yes, you can use it by plugging it directly into the USB, but it does take a little messing around to get it right. I used to have a speedtouch modem and it worked fine in Linux.
