Hi.. I've seemed to notice that whether you're searching for all terms or any terms in the query, it seems to return the same results regardless of the choice..
Makes it a bit difficult to search for an exact error message, as was the case for me last night ("no available ptys") .. you end up with every thread containing the word 'ptys', which is a lot thanks to dmesg posts
Then again, maybe I just don't understand phpbb searching methods, and someone please feel free to update me if that's the case:)

Well... For one thing, the search doesn't work with words that are less than three characters. You should have tried no* instead of no, or omitting it since it is such a common term.
Other than that... I noticed the same behavior doing a search for "available ptys" _________________ Hello. |

Unfortunately, this is not a simple problem to fix. We can't really get that granularity with the forums search as it stands now. It will require some major changes to phpbb to be able to avoid seaching code blocks or dmesg output. You might check out their website to see if you want to persue this long term. http://ww.phpbb.com _________________ if i never try anything, i never learn anything..
