I'm using the gentoo modified kernel and when i try to install the driver for my winmodem i get an error. I tried scanning the forums for this kinda stuff but found nothing so i posted this. Anybody know of a solution. I'm gonna try the normal kernel tonight and see if that's the problem.

this is the output from dmesg
Linux version 2.4.19-gentoo-r5 (root@enterprise.pcnet.is) (gcc version 2.95.3
