|
|
Hi!
I started with gentoo 1.3 and updated to gcc3.1.1.
Although I (hopefully) read all related topics here I couldnt
get mozillas plugins to work.
As far as I understand this there are two known workarounds,
The fist is based on a file named libc++mem.c explained there:
https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?t=4753
and the second comes as mozilla-patch for
mozilla/xpfe/bootstrap/nsAppRunner.cpp
This one is already applied by emerge mozilla1.0-r3, right?
None of them helped and I guess theres no fix that will work for me.
my Questions are:
- Does any of the two patches mentioned above depend on a
specific gcc3.x Version?
- Does it screw up things to apply both patches?
- If I install mozilla binaries I run into trouble using Gecko in
Konqueror, right?
- What about gcc3-compiled-Mozilla <-> Codeweavers Crossover Plugins?
Will i get the same problems there too?
- I have a 500Mhz AMD k7 and 256mb memory, is this enough to use
flash from Crossover-Plugin without any serious performance
issues?
Thanks for any Help |
