after having answered several posts regarding window managers or DEs and the choice i think it's way more efficient having a single thread that holds a comparison of different WM's, ie why people use them and what they try to accomplish. I'm in the process of writing such a HOWTO and would like to know if there is a chance this could make it to either the howto or the faq section. preferably the howto section, so i can read suggestions and/or reactions.
what do the admins think?

I think this is a fantastic idea. It would make a very nice suppliment and reference for us. I look forward to reading it.
