|
|
I have an ultra 80 with one processor and I want to get a second. (actually I want to get three but I'm starting small )I see that there are a few revisions of the 450Mhz processors and I am wondering if I have to get one that is the same revision as the one I currently have? (501-5539)
Thanks for your time folks!

It's safest to keep them the same, I suppose. But some CPU models
are listed as substitute parts for some of the others, and those are
probably OK.
Notice that different CPU models have different requirements for OBP
level or for system board revision.
Those requirements will have to be met. |

Hey, just as a follow up. I talked with these guys:
http://www.stores.ebay.com/id=15739690&ssPageName=L2
and they told me that they will be happy to send me matched cpu's if I email them the product number that I need at the time that I place my order. How cool is that?
