|
|
Okay a got a few things I noticed after installing GNOME 2....
1. kde 3.0.1 and 3.0.2 are listed in the gdm sessions list, how do I get rid of 'em?
2. In my system monitor it still shows some k stuff such as kjournald kswapd, keventd, khubd, kupdated... _________________ "And I'm right. I'm always right, but in this case I'm just a bit more right than I usually am." - Linus Torvalds |

Those processes are K for Kernel... not KDE

Which is executed by the following command:
But I couldn't find the options there to enable/disable the logins...
BTW, if you enter the directory
Code: | /etc/X11/gdm/Sessions
|
you'll find some small scripts which are used by gdm to start kde 3.0.2, 3.0.3, ... delete the ones you don't want and you should be OK (move somewhere if you want to keep a backup in case things go not very well).
