I am trying to use the current ebuild of gnuplot to install gnuplot 3.8i.0 package from sourceforge. I changed the name to gnuplot 3.8.0 , copied the gnuplot.3.7.1-r3.ebuild in /usr/loca/portage/media-gfx/gnuplot and tried to emerge it. It compiles fine but then this problem comes up

Can you please point what is wrong?
Thanks

How about using USE "-sandbox"?

Did you try the latest 3.8j.0? It won't work by simply copying the ebuild from the current.

"FEATURES=-sandbox" solved the same problem for me.
