pablored, you are the man! i made the horrible mistake last night of not backing up my fonts.scale and dir directory for Abiword. Then I copied all my fonts over, and executed ttmkfdir -o fonts.scale; mkfontdir. BIG MISTAKE. I had to recompile which wasn't a big deal.
Anyway, thanks for the news. Anyone got any other updates of Truetype and their favorite app? |

Is all (or the majority) of this thread still valid in late 2004?
There have been changes such as moving from xfree to xorg.
I'd assume everything is the same with the configuration files but
one never knows... Just asking for clarification to see if following
these instructions will still yield a successful result...

I was just going to ask that. I've never had a problem with my fonts (except rendering asian characters, and I managed to fix that) but maybe I'm missing something. _________________ "Everytime you justify
