overnet 1.0.1 clc
it works fine, only a command line
overnet 1.0.1 support protocols overnet and edonkey but need ed2k-gui 0.63 and in portage we have only 0.62
ed2k0.63 from source not compile
the overnet-gui beta, instead, is good:
http://download.overnet.com/eDonkeyLinux1.0.1.tar.gz

the only "problem": overnet is closed-source!

p.s. sorry for my english

I second this, it works. However, beware of frequent crashes when searching NetFriends (at least on my system).

Michele.

greetings,
I tried emerging "partimage" normally, because it said that its been unmasked somewhere, that didnt work so i tried emerging it like this:

Code:

RAIDEN root # ACCEPT_KEYWORD="~amd64" emerge partimage
Calculating dependencies
!!! All ebuilds that could satisfy "partimage" have been masked.
!!! One of the following masked packages is required to complete your request:
- sys-apps/partimage-0.6.2 (masked by: missing keyword)
- sys-apps/partimage-0.6.4 (masked by: missing keyword)
- sys-apps/partimage-0.6.4-r1 (masked by: missing keyword)

For more information, see MASKED PACKAGES section in the emerge man page or
section 2.2 "Software Availability" in the Gentoo Handbook.

RAIDEN root #

i need it to backup my WinXP FAT32 partition, so if you have any ideas, i am all ears

sys-apps/qtparted-0.4.4 builds and works nicely (that's marked stable on x86).

However be sure you accept ~amd64 for the dependancy sys-apps/parted (you'll want 1.6.15) because the stable version (1.6.6) isn't so stable, you get a floating point error. And I don't believe that error is specific to amd64.

although it was hard-masked I tried and got
Code:
mail-client/ximian-connector
compiled from the ebuild. The module is now available in Evolution-2.0.3.

Unfortunately I cannot test whether it actually works correct because the exchange server of my company is available only through VPN and the cisco-vpn-client seems not to work on amd64 :(

Well, it installed just fine when I changed the ebuild a bit...it was whining (incorrectly) about xvid.

https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=72041

I used a slightly modified ogmrip-0.6.2.ebuild
