har noe problemer med ebuild, tydeligvis, som virker noget rare. Boksen hadde et tilfelle av "hikke" før idag, hvor den til slutt ga helt opp, og en reset var eneste utvei.

fatter ikke hva dette kommer av. kjører gentoo på flere bokser, og ingen av de andre har dette problemet. ebuild.sh fila er identisk på boksene, så det må være noe "utenom" jeg ikke klarer finne.

Något säger mig att det är dags att köra en rejäl fsck på dina hårddiskar.
Fungerar emerge sync bra? emerge portage?
Om inte finns portage-rescue-tarboll under /usr/portage/sys-apps/files
Från README i biblioteket:

NOTE: This WILL overwrite make.conf. Please copy your original
somewhere safe if you wish to keep it for reference.
**************************************************************
If you are not in this directory, you need to change to:
# cd /usr/portage/sys-apps/portage/files/
Run the following to extract the tarball (substitute your arch for 'x86')
# tar xjpUvf portage-rescue-2.0.47-r10-x86.tbz2 -C /
You'll see a warning about garbage at the end of the tarball/bzip2. That's
normal and not a problem. That should get Portage up and running again.
Immediately after that finishes do the following:
# emerge rsync
# emerge portage |

hadde også mistanke om at noe kunne være galt med filsystemet, og har derfor kjørt fsck, uten feilmeldinger. testet det du pastet, med portage rescue-tarball, uten resultat.
emerge sync og emerge portage virker som det skal, men det ser ut til at få andre pakker kan installeres. |
