Emerging the 12_2003 build, everything I shot only stayed within the current cube - which proves to be downright leathal with the rocket launcher.
The only thing I can think of is I use the ati-drivers implementation of open-gl. I have found no other notes on anybody else having this problem.
Has anybody had this problem?

Cube runs, but I can't shoot anything / rockets blow up in my face!
Cube uses OpenGL to find out what position in the 3d world the crosshair is pointing at. If you have old/buggy drivers, or drivers for a badly supported card, it may be that this feature is broken. Your only solution is to install better/newer drivers, or failing that, buy a new card.

Ah... Thanks for pointing out the newer version of X.
Now I can hope to live. (and at 1200fps with glxgears, not live to shabily either)
Thanks.
