windex,
Every one of us remembers our first Gentoo install ...
I think thats the spur to forums quality and sympathy be Gentoo beginners. _________________ Regards,

Lucky this isn't the Arch forums or windex would have been accused of something resembling having sex with a dead person and the entire thread locked down
But to add something useful, I agree with the person that said about the install. The process itself tends to be self-weeding in that it keeps out folk on the level of some of the other forums I have stumbled upon. Though if you're prepared to ask the right questions and use your manners the advice is readily forthcoming even if you fall at the first hurdle (like I did). Long live the friendly and helpful Gentoo forums! _________________ Neo wasn't searching for the matrix.. he was doing an overnight emerge
