Is that link still working for everyone?

Just seems to sit there loading constantly and there is no progress made. I've tried a few different browsers but it didn't make a difference.

great stuff, I hope your working on more material. Perhaps a longer version of this song/higher quality ogg would be nice too.

Anyway, good job, I added that to my playlist :)

Don't say you don't know the first song. C'mon, I know you've booted Knoppix. The first song on that sites' been included in Knoppix since I got my hands on v3.2, maybe longer!

Hey man, it's great I love it! You have a cool voice in that tune! All it needs would be something harder in the song you know when you build up from very silent to VERY LOUD! ;)

But all and all cool idea! Work on it!!!

You shouldn't regret it - it will continue rocking on for quite some time.

Like that episode of the Family Guy when Peter can play the piano perfectly when he is drunk? :D

Since mp3 is not free (http://www.mp3licensing.com/royalty/emd.html), it would rule if you encoded the original song in a free and actually the best (http://www.rjamorim.com/test/multiformat128/results.html) format available, that is, Ogg-Vorbis (oggenc, emerge vorbis-tools).

Hey, I checked that link and MP3 actually is free in many situations. From that link:
Quote:
No license is needed for private, non-commercial activities (e.g., home-entertainment, receiving broadcasts and creating a personal music library), not generating revenue or other consideration of any kind or for entities with an annual gross revenue less than US$ 100 000.00.

Of particular interest is their phrase "not generating revenue". So you can write & distribute freeware mp3 software no problem.

The real reason to switch to ogg is the better sound quality.
