Hi, I had a quick question about installing GRUB. I have 2 hard-drives and I was thinking about installing gentoo onto the second drive, but instead of putting GRUB onto the MBR I was wondering if I could put it onto a floppy and make a "boot disk" for gentoo, so that when I want to load gentoo I would just put in a floppy and bootup my computer, instead of seeing a dual boot menu and choosing to load it. Is this possible?

Thanks for any help.

Yes, it's possible. Follow the links referenced in https://forums.gentoo.org/faq.php#9 to get to Creating a GRUB boot floppy in the GRUB manual.
