Hallo zusammen,
ich bin gerade dabei, grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg durchzuführen. system unstable
Doch da kommt folgende Meldung:

grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg
/usr/bin/grub-mkconfig: line 264: /boot/grub/grub.cfg.new: No such file or directory

Was hat das denn zu bedeuten - so etwas habe ich bisher noch nie erlebt.
Kann mir jemand behilflich sein? Dafür bin ich sehr dankbar.

Hallo zusammen!
Habe ich möglicherweise etwas übersehen, was vor sys-boot/grub noch hätte installiert werden müssen?
Ich habe nämlich erst noch nvidia-drivers installiert, das waren aber 9 Pakete, die zusammengehörten.
Danach habe ich noch einmal grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg durchgeführt,
und siehe da, es hat geklappt.
Also habe ich zu früh mit grub-mkconfig begonnen.
