My main pc creates binary files for two other pc's
So my main pc syncs with gentoo and kde, with git
When that is done, the kde timestamp is gone: /var/db/repos/kde/metadata/timestamp.chk

Now I sync the other computers with rsync to my local pc, but it stops because the timestamp is gone.

So I created a script that syncs my main pc and after that, creates a new timestamp and everything looks ok.
But I still don't like it. Is there a way that git does not delete the timestamp?
Or to run rsync without the need of a timestamp?
