I want to create a VM to run Windows. I've KVM as kernel modules, installed current stable QEMU and virt-manager. I've added my user to the kvm group. When starting a user session, I get the following errors in my log:
Code: | virtnodedevd[544610]: Failed to open a VPD file '/sys/bus/pci/devices/0000:02:00.1/vpd': Operation not permitted
virtnodedevd[544610]: Failed to open a VPD file '/sys/bus/pci/devices/0000:02:00.4/vpd': Operation not permitted

virtnodedevd[544610]: Failed to open a VPD file '/sys/bus/pci/devices/0000:02:00.3/vpd': Operation not permitted
virtnodedevd[544610]: Failed to open a VPD file '/sys/bus/pci/devices/0000:02:00.0/vpd': Operation not permitted
virtnodedevd[544610]: Failed to open a VPD file '/sys/bus/pci/devices/0000:02:00.2/vpd': Operation not permitted |
Googling did not turn up anything I could make sense of. What can I do to get rid of this? (I have not seen it affect my Win11 VM.) |
