When I emerge sys-firmware/intel-microcode, I faced econf error. output #1, emerge --info, see http://dpaste.com/AFD4TD2U9. output #2, emerge -pqv, http://dpaste.com/CU39J8LAR. build log, see http://dpaste.com/BNZ33P765. any idea how to resolve this ?

You have a major typo that will affect many packages. See your other post

This is resolved by correct typo in CFLAGS. -march=native. before, it was -match-native I have put.

Code:
checking whether the C compiler works... no
configure: error: in `/var/tmp/portage/sys-apps/iucode_tool-2.3.1-r1/work/iucode-tool-2.3.1':
configure: error: C compiler cannot create executables

Have you manually removed packages withe emerge -C?

p.s. guard your urls with url tags from dots and commas at the end.
p.s.2 I now see this is a new installation. I had that when I had mixed the wrong profile with the wrong stage3. What image did you download?

Best Regards,
Georgi

Hi, I was using links tool in text mode when I post this. so it's kinda hard to post in good format. Sorry for that.

This is resolved by correcting the typo in /etc/portage/make.conf as I mentioned in previous reply. The build is working fine.

Thanks
