keepass 2.54 on gentoo

I've tested version 2.54 from the download page available from Archlinux (keepass 2.54-1) :
https://archlinux.org/packages/extra/any/keepass/
It works perfectly under gentoo.
Now, is this repository and version safe? There is no checksum or element to certify its origin ...

I actually downloaded the zip from the official keepass website then launched by the command:

exec mono KeePass.exe

It works perfectly on my gentoo.
This version fixes the CVE-2023-32784 security flaw, even if its use was quite limited.
