/etc/profile ?
/etc/bashrc ?
/etc/profile.env ?

I put mine in my ~/.bashrc, but you could put it in any of those places as long as they are source when you enter a bash prompt. You could also put it in a ~/.xinitrc or similar if you were using applications that needed the PATH additions and you didn't enter a bash prompt first. I typically always have some xterm up somewhere from when I started the system, so I don't worry about that. _________________ if i never try anything, i never learn anything..
