everytime I emerge a package I get a message that there were some files that needed updating so I did a etc-update and updated 9 files, and now I can't log on to my local network or access the internet. is there anything I can do to fix this? |

You may want to try posting your question to the Installing Gentoo or General Gentoo forum, wish I could answer your question. Good luck on getting some help! |

What do you mean "can't log on to your local network"? You can't log on to your gentoo box? Or you can't mount an NFS share/access a samba share, etc??
